Booking Direct Versus AirBNB
Booking Direct saves you the 13% AirBNB fees, plus you pay a lower rate. In all, guests typically pay 20% LESS when they book direct. Rather than AirCover, you may choose to pay a $35 Damage Waiver or pay a $10 fee with the deposit route. There is no hold placed if you elect the deposit. It's just a pre-authorization to check for available funds. Our Guest Screening is done through Truvi. Once you book, Truvi Guest Screening reaches out via email to ask for a photo of your ID and they do the screening much the same as online travel agencies (ABB). We are informed if you are approved and your reservation proceeds.
We cheerfully welcome guests through the booking method of your choice. We like to be able to offer direct as an alternative, but we are proud to be a Guest Favorite and Super Host on AirBNB as well.
With either route, we require a Guest Agreement to be e-signed. This reiterates our House Rules, tells you how to contact us, and covers eventualities like evacuations and weather. This is delivered via email link, and all Terms & Conditions can be viewed on our direct site.
